London Marathon has been taking place since 1981, in its most recent edition they had over 50,000 participants in London.
We have delivered 57,000 medals made of 100% recycled zinc for The TCS London Marathon alone. Within our entire portfolio of events we estimate a delivery of 200,000 to 250,000 medals in total.
Running Imp has been working with London Marathon in the R&D process of the medals, sampling and adjusting to our requirements up until the final product is finished and delivered to our warehouses.
Running Imp has been working for several years with London Marathon Events and we now hold a very solid and trustworthy relationship.
London Marathon Events’ objectives were to produce a sustainable, cost effective and high-quality product. The design is mainly done by The London Marathon Events design team with the help of Running Imp & Bespoke Medals in the adjustments stage, in order to achieve best quality and final image.
The outcome reached a well designed and top-quality product that sits in line with London Marathon Events’ requirements and sustainability statement.
