A huge congratulations to Marathon100, for winning The Most Beautiful Running Medal in Estonia in 2020 with their EESTI 500 medal!
After much deliberation, it was decided that EESTI 500 would become a Virtual Run. Announced in May, the run required challengers to run over 500 kilometres in the short space of 5 months. The immediate popularity of the race was a huge surprise for the team at Marathon100, with over 100 people registering for it on the first day. In the end, the number of participants reached almost 800!
At the end of the race, challengers were sent one of these stunning medals. Each medal matches the shape of Estonia, and features beautiful elements of the country.
