The 2018 edition of the Giants Head Marathon is an incredibly special occasion for both White Star Running and Bespoke Medals, marking the 100th race that White Star have organised, and what’s more, we’ve proudly produced every single one of their finisher’s medals.
Staging their events in the picturesque county of Dorset, White Star Running’s slogan is ‘Keep Running Rural’.
Throughout the year, the company stage nine major events, each with their own individual theme.
They are the Larmer Tree races, Ox races, Giants Head Marathon, Dorset Invader, Bad Cow Weekender, Bovington Marathon & Half, Chase Half Marathon, Cider Frolic and East Farm Frolic.
Together we recently broke down the events we’ve produced Bespoke Medals for so far.

After White Star Running posted on Facebook yesterday, our CEO Chris Illsley said: “Congratulations from everybody at Running Imp – a huge achievement.
“Here’s to your next 100 events.”
Keen runners will be eager to see what Bespoke Medals we produce for the June 2018 running of the Giants Head Marathon.
After all, our Bespoke Medal for the 2017 edition proved incredibly popular, so much so that it was our June 2017 Medal of the Month winner.
From the team at Bespoke Medals, we’d like to say congratulations to White Star Running on staging their landmark 100th event!
