We were very proud to be able to supply the finisher’s medals to the 2013 Edinburgh Marathon Festival.
The two-day event includes a marathon, half marathon, 10k, 5k and junior races.
The festival attracted over 29,000 runners of all abilities, with a great deal of money raised for charity!
The 135mm marathon medal was a large and eye-catching rectangle-based design with enamelled detailing.
Those who took part in the junior races received a circular design starring the popular ‘Hairy Haggis’ character.
Tola Lema from Ethiopia won Sunday’s marathon with an astonishing time of 2:15:32. The winning female participant, Kenya’s Risper Kimaiyo, came in with a time of 2:35:00.
Well done to everybody who took part in the festival, we hope you enjoyed receiving the medals and can’t wait to see your performance at the next one!
