Hell of a Hill Marathon is arguably the toughest 26.2 miles in the UK!
Welcoming only the toughest runners, the event asks challengers to conquer a hill for either 1 or 5 consecutive days of pure pain.
The marathon includes 6,000ft+ of elevation gain each day, 26.2 miles of tough stone and muddy trails in cold winter months.
Not only that but also 8 laps over the Mighty Rivington Pike each day, 2416 steps each day and a 9-hour time limit each day!
The marathon presented participants with a unique medal for each different day, all fitting together to create one giant Hell of a Hill Marathon prize.
