Paula Radcliffe returned to racing this weekend at the Worcester City 10k. In the process, she earned herself one of our fantastic Bespoke Medals!

Her first competitive event in over two years, it was novel seeing the 40-year-old world record marathon runner back in action.

Clocking in at 35 minutes and 48 seconds, the run forged part of her preparations for next year’s London Marathon.

Radcliffe finished the inaugural Worcester City 10k in third place.

The winner was local 19-year-old Jenny Nesbitt who was the first woman across the line in 34 minutes 22 seconds.

Kenyan Reuben Chumba won the men’s race in a time of 30 minutes and 37 seconds.

This triumph came a year after setting a new track record at the Jersey Marathon while also winning the Guernsey Marathon earlier this year.
