The Scottish Half Marathon held their first event just outside Edinburgh on Saturday.

Around 3,000 runners took part with Olympic and Commonwealth Judo silver medalist Gemma Gibbons the official race starter.

The race route starts at Meadowmill Sports Centre and heads up to Longniddry before going down to Musselburgh Racecourse.

Thousands of spectators packed the streets to support the runners.

The Scottish Half Marathon – Supporting a Worthy Cause

An estimated £500,000 was raised for charity, in particular for official race charity Cancer Research UK, where Gemma Gibbons is an official ambassador.

We produced their amazing Bespoke Medal and have seen lots of great feedback about it so far!

The good news is that registration is already open for next year’s event!
