Our fantastic sustainability credentials start with the sourcing of the raw material we use to create our medals. We only use wood from FSC certified forests, that have to prove they are managed in an environmentally appropriate manner. These forests are a natural, renewable solution for global environmental problems such as climate change, ecosystem destruction and landscape deterioration caused by increasing consumption.
Then we take a step away from where the material is sourced and return closer to home – each medal purchased brings us one step closer to a greener and more sustainable world.
We work with you to design and create unique medals, trophies and awards for your event, whether it be a one-off eco-friendly wooden award, or thousands of medals for an event. We do this through our fantastic team of in-house designers, who work to bring your visions to life.
At Running Imp, we care passionately about the environment and sustainability. We are addressing how we run our operations, supply chain, packing materials, water and energy use. We make our Ribbons with environmentally-friendly, non-toxic ink, and offer Recyclable Heat Transfer and Recyclable RPET Yarn Ribbons.
We’re also conscious of plastics and are working on removing them from our products and offering alternatives made from recyclable material, such as our flag branding material and supplying wooden stakes instead of plastic ones.
